All my pieces are one of a kind. I work exclusively with second-hand fabrics, which means I never know exactly what materials I’ll find from month to month. This results in unexpected fabrics, colours, compositions, and moods, with each piece developing its own character.
The quilt has a machine-pieced patchwork top made from second-hand cotton and linen, a thin layer of batting and a cotton-viscose backing. I hand quilted the three layers together and finished the outer edge with hand-sewn binding.
I design my work with longevity in mind. These pieces are made to be durable, to be used, and to be cared for over time rather than replaced. If needed, they can be mended or repaired, and each piece comes with a small selection of fabric scraps from its making, along with detailed care instructions, to support future maintenance.

NATURALLY DYED COLOUR NOTES
The fabrics in this quilt were prepared and dyed using methods appropriate to each dyestuff. The onion, avocado and acorn colours were produced using mordant and tannin processes where required, while the indigo fabric was coloured separately in an indigo vat.
Naturally dyed colours can change gradually through exposure to light, washing, water chemistry and repeated use. Some fading or shifting in colour may occur over time. To slow this process, keep the quilt away from prolonged direct sunlight and clean it only when necessary, following the care instructions provided.
Spot clean where possible. If the full quilt needs cleaning, hand wash it gently in cool water with a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Do not soak, bleach or tumble dry. Support the weight of the wet quilt when lifting it and dry it flat or well supported, away from direct sunlight. Detailed care instructions are included.

For customers in the United States, applicable tariffs on shipments from Europe are calculated at checkout and prepaid by me before I ship the package; any other fees charged by customs or carriers remain the buyer’s responsibility.
