Naturally Dyed Fabric Tote Bag

All my pieces are one of a kind. I work exclusively with second‑hand fabrics, which means I never know exactly what materials I’ll find from month to month. This results in unexpected fabrics, colours, compositions, and moods, with each piece developing its own character.

Each naturally dyed fabric tote bag is made with a structured outer layer, a lining, and internal reinforcement to support everyday use. The pieces are machine pieced and lightly hand quilted.

I design my work with longevity in mind. These pieces are made to be durable, to be worn and used regularly, and to be cared for over time rather than replaced. If needed, they can be mended or repaired, and each piece comes with a small selection of fabric scraps from its making, along with detailed care instructions, to support future maintenance.

NATURALLY DYED COLOUR NOTES

All of my naturally dyed items are mordanted and tanned for the best colour fastness, but plant‑dyed fabrics are inherently less colour‑ and light‑fast than their chemically dyed counterparts. The luminous quality of these colours—and their gradual evolution over time—is part of what makes naturally dyed textiles unique. Any subtle fading that may occur does not compromise the integrity of the piece and should be seen as a natural continuation of its life.

To help preserve colour intensity, keep naturally dyed items out of direct sunlight. If cleaning is required, hand wash gently in cool water using a mild detergent, then air dry.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout once you enter your delivery address. Full details, including returns and cancellations, are available in the Shipping Policy. Any applicable customs duties, taxes, or additional import fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

For customers in the United States, applicable tariffs on shipments from Europe are calculated at checkout and prepaid by me before I ship the package; any other fees charged by customs or carriers remain the buyer’s responsibility.
