This denim patchwork wall hanging is built around a clear geometric layout, using deep indigo, mid blues, and darker tones to create contrast. The repeated shapes give it a steady rhythm, while the variation in denim tones keeps the surface active without feeling busy. It is easy to hang and sits flat against the wall, making it simple to place in a living area, workspace, or smaller wall. It works well on its own or alongside other pieces, adding structure and texture without taking over the space. Over time, it becomes part of the room, adding depth without demanding attention.

Description

MATERIALS & PROCESS

All my pieces are one of a kind. I work exclusively with second-hand fabrics, which means I never know exactly what materials I’ll find from month to month. This results in unexpected fabrics, colours, compositions, and moods, with each piece developing its own character. Each denim patchwork wall hanging is made with a machine pieced patchwork top, thin batting, and a backing fabric. The layers are hand quilted together, and a fabric sleeve is added to the back so the piece can be hung using a dowel or similar support. The dowel is not included.
 
I design my work with longevity in mind. These pieces are made to be durable, to be used, and to be cared for over time rather than replaced. If needed, they can be mended or repaired, and each piece comes with a small selection of fabric scraps from its making, along with detailed care instructions, to support future maintenance.

For customers in the United States, applicable tariffs on shipments from Europe are calculated at checkout and prepaid by me before I ship the package; any other fees charged by customs or carriers remain the buyer’s responsibility.
