This quilted e-reader sleeve takes a more minimal approach, using a uniform grey surface with soft, hand quilted, lines.  The surface has a light texture that adds interest and the blue lining inside brings in a bit of contrast when the sleeve is opened. It keeps things balanced and easy to pair with other items. It fits e-readers and small tablets, helping protect them from scratches and everyday bumps. The padding gives it enough structure to hold its shape while staying flexible, so it slides easily into a bag or can be carried on its own. Straightforward to use and practical for daily use at home or when you’re out.

MATERIALS & PROCESS

All my pieces are one of a kind. I work exclusively with second-hand fabrics, which means I never know exactly what materials I’ll find from month to month. This results in unexpected fabrics, colours, compositions, and moods, with each piece developing its own character. Each quilted e-reader sleeve is made with a pieced or whole cloth outer layer, a lining, and a thin layer of batting to give it structure and softness. The pieces are hand or machine quilted for durability and finished with a secure closure.
 
I design my work with longevity in mind. These pieces are made to be durable, to be used, and to be cared for over time rather than replaced. If needed, they can be mended or repaired, and each piece comes with a small selection of fabric scraps from its making, along with detailed care instructions, to support future maintenance.
